It's National Breastfeeding Week (27th June - 3rd July)

There is a Beginning Breastfeeding Antenatal Course, run by La Leche League Okehampton on Saturday 2nd July and Saturday 9th July 2022, from 10:30am-1pm.
It is a free, 5 hour course for pregnant women in Okehampton, plus their partners. Its purpose is to help you feel confident and empowered to breastfeed your baby by learning about the first days and weeks of your baby's life.
Further courses will be available in October, January and May.
Courses are free, thanks to funding from Okehampton United Charities.

Please complete your survey as soon as possible, your response will only be included in analysis if completed by 15th July. For paper surveys, you can do this by handing it in to reception, by sending it by email to: d-ccg.omc-comms@nhs.net, or by posting it to us: Okehampton Medical Centre, East Street, Okehampton, Devon, EX20 1AY.
Then, we will be sharing the results in our waiting rooms, on Facebook and on our Website.

Face Mask Guidance Update

-Most patients/staff/visitors are no longer required to wear a mask but may choose to do so.
-Patients with respiratory symptoms/suspected covid are still required to wear a mask.

The Drop-In will be provided by the Okehampton Medical Centre, Community Links and West Devon CVS for the North Dartmoor Primary Care Network.
Dr Emma Chapman from the Okehampton Medical Centre said, "People have told us that when they feel low they wish there was someone to talk to at the weekend. We look forward to seeing them at the Drop-In. This is for everyone in Okehampton and the surrounding towns and villages."

Virtual HOPE Programme for people living with Anxiety and/or Depression

Starting on Friday 24th June, this is a six week programme that will run every Friday, from 10am-12pm, on Microsoft Teams.
