Repeat Prescriptions
Please order more medication at least 4 days before you run out. Requests for repeat prescriptions will be handled by the dispensing staff. Please either hand in your request to them or post it to the surgery. You may also ring the dispensary direct on 01837 54267 between 08.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday or fax the request on 01837 54950.

Ordering Repeat Prescriptions online using EMIS Access
As part of our commitment to increasing patient access to our services, the Practice is providing EMIS Access which enables patients to order repeat prescriptions on the Internet whatever the time of day. (You can also use Emis Access to book, cancel and check appointments.)

Before you can use EMIS Access to order repeat prescriptions or deal with appointments, you need to register.

If you prefer you can still request repeat prescriptions by using the on-line form on this website. You will need your Patient Number. If you do not know your Patient Number please check your Prescription form - the Patient Number is located as shown below:

If you live more than a mile from a chemist, your prescription can be dispensed at the Medical Centre and will be available on the same day. If you live in Okehampton or would prefer to have your medicine dispensed at one of the town chemists, please allow 48 hours.

For people living in surrounding villages of Lydford, South Zeal, Sticklepath, Belstone, Bridestowe, Bratton Clovelly, Northlew, Exbourne, Folly Gate, Sampford Courtenay, Monkokehampton and Throwleigh, you can have your prescriptions sent by courier on Wednesday morning by telephoning before 4.30pm on Tuesday afternoon. For details of this service, please ask the dispensers.

If you have any queries about your prescription, please ask the dispenser. If she is unable to answer your question, she will contact a doctor.
